The circuit
Mobility Resort Motegi, built by Honda in the hills of Tochigi north of Tokyo, is a rare stop-and-go circuit: a sequence of hard braking zones and short straights that is brutal on brakes. The Japanese round is a technical, passionate home race for the country's motorcycling giants and their fiercely knowledgeable fans.
